About Myself         Hi, a very warm welcome and be my guest at "Terra - Fiction". My name is Jörg Franzke and since I was born in February of 1959 I am living in Berlin. I am married and we have two daughters born in 1984 and 1985. Our fifth member of the family is called "Kafka" and "he" is a dog. I am working as project manager in development of telecom equipment, mainly leading software development tasks. My interest in fractals like the Mandelbrot set was responsible for detecting render programs. So it was just a matter of time to come in touch with Terragen. Since the end of the year 1999 I am using this renderer and I am quite happy with it (mostly...). In the beginning I have used fractal images a lot as a base for terrains. After this "fractal" period I started to create artificial landscapes mostly by adding buildings or artifacts into natural terrains. Til now that is my most beloved area of images (I guess, you already have mentioned that, havn't you?).
